DESCRIPTION:
EPW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, 53mm, 14K gold EH&Co recase was originally a HC but has been modified with its front lid cut out and a crystal inserted for use in OF form, internal bezel no longer present, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, 20-21J, wolf's tooth winding, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#276085. Gross weight of assembled watch 81.0 dwt (126.0 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking somewhat sluggishly, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few small fine scratches, some scattered light haze spots to plate surfaces, few small bits of oxide to steelwork; dial with light hl at 7:30; excellent hands; case shows light wear, some scratches inside rear, no dents or dings, hinges missing end-caps, case with imperfect fit to this mvt with mvt case screws having only small overlap of inner case lip and with mvt presently having a bit of play or rattle within case; tight bow, crown shows substantial wear; good glass crystal.
